I had to wean my youngest around 8 months (medical reasons) and we

then switched to formula. Now, at 18 months, we have gone to Next

Step for older babies. When we made the switch, or shortly

thereafter, to the older baby formula, we started using filtered

water from the refrigerator door (cold)rather than warm like the

bottle. We also started using those Munchkin strawed-sippy cups (the

only ones that really don't leak) and when we did switch from the

bottle to the cup, it was always the cold refrigerator water. The

formula did not mix any better, cold, warm, or hot water, and he has

drank it ever since. The first couple of times, he left about half in

the cup, but son realized that when he was hungry, then he would

drink it all.

Maybe changing the type of delivery (from bottle to sippy) can help.

(Not sure if baby was still using bottle or already on cup? You can

also go from sippy to strawed glass.)
