Vitamin A Toxicity

Hi guys....I wanted to share my experience regarding Vitamin A

Protocol and maintenance. The first time we did vitamin A protocol

was a year ago when we figured out that the MMR had given Ian

subclinical measles and rubeola. After the protocol, we saw amazing

results and stimming almost completely dissapeared.

This past summer, the stimming returned and he started displaying

behaviors I hadn't seen in a year...including abnormal gate. We

realized that measles and ruboella were back because we didn't

maintain his vitamin A levels. Soooo....we did the protocol again,

this time with a maintenance dose of 12,500 IU per day. This was 4 -

The past couple weeks, Ian has been increasingly hyperactive and is

having huge problems with incontenance and refusing to pee on the

potty. I re-read the document by Dr. Chapman and have found that

hyperactivity is a sign of vitamin A toxicity. I wouldn't have

figured that one out in a million years if I hadn't been asked a

question last night by another listmate regarding the high dose

protocol.

As of now, we are discontinuing the maintenance doses of vitamin A

until his behavior calms down. And I'm not sure what dose to

maintain after that. I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed any

problems with behavior while maintaining a high dose of vitamin A

following the high dose protocol.

thanx for reading this long post...I tried to be as brief as possible.
