Guest guest
I can't agree more. I know we need changes but the big picture really frightens me. I don't want socialized medicine. I think it would be good to have medical records available to Drs. especially if you are out of town and on vacation or you move, etc. But I don't feel comfortable with anyone like the government, insurance companies, Social Security, lawyers and others having access. I agree there is a lot going on that we don't know about and then all of a sudden it's here and we have no say in the matter. Just my thoughts. wrote: Ya well that is step one to communism. Guest guest
Additional question, if Dr Shoemaker and doctor's like him are already " gone " , how do you tie that to the new administration which has only been in office for 3 weeks? I just don't get this post of yours...? > > Let me kindly remind you it is a done deal. Guest guest
Not already, no it will take awhile and will be very subtle. If a doctor is not treating his patience the government does not say he can (is really the botton line of how to say it) or vice verca if the care they dont think is proper care for this patient. You see now we find that good doctor we like or trust. with one central place for all your records (which has been done for years just for different reasons and not to this extent) Then if he also gets his way (he=Obama) we will have govenment health insurance) I mean it does not tkae a concperacy theorist to see this one comeing. Now turning to socialism how many places or better yet people will able to get medical attention for exposure to mold for example. " The government " already has told us where to go for help. I mean I dont know how else to explain it before it become a subject that does not belong on this board. I AM trying to tell you to read the bill, follow along we will soon possibly not have medical help for many things. Think out of the box, thats where we are heading a Sickbuilding Syndrome should be one of your greatest concerns. www.biotoxin.info From: barb1283 <barb1283@...> Subject: [] Re: OT: President Obama: Protect US from Medical Fascism:... Guest guest
Thinking outside the box is what scares me the most. People are just following along and do not understand what will happen to our health care system as we know it. wrote: Not already, no it will take awhile and will be very subtle. Guest guest
I have not read the bill so you are way ahead of me, but I doubt the new administration has in mind limiting health alternatives. That was on the previous administration agenda that we were all fighting, of not allowing people to buy vitamins over USDA recommended daily allowances. Also insurance companies have been putting limits on doctors to only do tests that are absolutely necessary and the insurance company has an opinion as to if it was necessary, following " standards in practice " that do not include anything about mold, so that isn't new. Anyway, thanks for the heads up. I believe though that this administration is not about limiting health care option, or bringing in socialism, but has got to do more spending than he planned on due to economic crisis. If you find specific wording of bill where we can really see that and you provide a link to that, that would be interesting. In that case, I think we all would call our Congress people about it. Thanks Chris. I have had it explained to me by a friend who is economist but it's too lengthy to go into now but right now government is only place money can come from to creat jobs. Really if unemployment continues, none of us will be able to afford any health care at all, and everyone will be seeking government assistance, so better to creat public works jobs just to get " something for the money being put into the economy " . They have to pump money into the economy. The fed restricted flow of money into banks in order to bring up the value of the dollar overseas so we could buy more oil cheaply and this put banks in a bad situation. They were going to close and depositors would have lost their life savings. The only thing to do to reverse it was to do the opposite...put lots of money in, but government wants to get something back, so put people to work doing work that is needed. We all need to be patient. These people are dealing with something that has never happened before, our biggest banks were on the verge of failing, so lets be patient but if you have specific wording or link to area in bill specifically, we all want to anything that may impact our health alternatives, please share but there tends to be alot of criticsm between parties that is frankly just not based on facts but are party warfare, with heightened language, fear mongering. > > Not already, no it will take awhile and will be very subtle. Guest guest
in my case, my insurance company is limiting the services I get according to my doctor and I have one of the better insurance plans my doctor says. The insurance companies are restricting tests and sending letters out to doctors who run tests that turn out to be negative, so doctors are getting to the point where they are afraid to run a test unless they **know for sure what person has already**, so I think this is already happening but from insurance companies. Anyway, if you have more information, let us know. Thanks > > Not already, no it will take awhile and will be very subtle.
