Guest guest
I am not sure if my entire question was posted? did it just post about the air sample, or did it post my entire post, with the names of mold found? My biggest concern is one area (on crawlspace door and in crawlspace)) is a " powder substance " . that is the one that had the highest mold count. I am SO worried that it has circulated through the air and attached to our belongings. Would an air sample also be able to identify the kind of mold it is? Thank you all again for your help Lindsy
Guest guest
Yes an air samp[le will identify the type. I also learned this. Carl Grimes on this group did the second test on my home. Until I talked to him I did not know that there are different type plates used for different molds and that it is really more complicated than I can explain now. My point being that for one you already know there is mold. If you are paying to test unless you hire someone with the knowledge and credentials as Carl has than any other testing may be irrelavent but since you are in a rental and if you plan on legal action it might be worth the cost. When I left my home (rental) I had no idea what I was up against. I left with the knowlege that the test were bad and it would be best if I left and took nothing and a bunch of unknown sores all over. Since I have found out the extent of damage to my health which has made me disabled, The cost of the medical has been unbelievable. I lost everything, a dog went blind and the other was unhealthy for a good while and was later helped a great deal by a very smart vet. My point is honestly, Dont take any chances. What you are about to loose may be the least of what may follow if you do take any. Chris...
