Guest guest
Greetings, As I said earlier, I've had a big problem with mold in my present duplex. My roommate and I have complained to the landlord and Code Enforcement about it. The landlord doesn't care. He sent us a nastygram last week that he wants us out and won't be renewing the lease. How do we go about finding a mold-free home to rent? Mold inspections cost $250+ here, and we can't afford that. Mold doesn't always smell, at least not on the day of rental. It can get worse when it rains.
Guest guest
We were able to find a clean rental by checking out several rentals until we found one that appeared clean and we asked a lot of questions. We explained our situation to the owner and she was very honest and kind. Another option is to talk to neighbors who live next to a rental house you are considering. Usually if there have been problems with the house, the neighbors will know about it. ________________________________ From: <heliotropium@...> Sent: Tuesday, March 24, 2009 4:00:07 AM Subject: [] Re: Finding clean rentals Greetings, As I said earlier, I've had a big problem with mold in my present duplex.
