Guest guest
I'm sorry to hear that things are so bad for you right now. I don't know where you are located, but since your family and your baby are back East, maybe you could stay with them and get treated by Dr. Shoemaker in land. I'm sure that others in the Sickbuildings Group will have more advice and suggestions. ________________________________ From: " Jsverdlove@... " <Jsverdlove@...> moldtheseverereactor Cc: Sent: Tuesday, March 24, 2009 10:18:41 AM Subject: [] update from Jill I'm heartbroken but desperate - I just gave my baby to my family, who took her back East, so that I can figure out where and how to detox. My husband is still dealing with trying to get rid of our old place and all our stuff, cars, etc, and his office is cross-contaminated for me so we haven't been able to see him or have his help. I'm really sick. I'm reacting to everything again, some cross contamination still probably, some other just " stuff " like gas heat, the car I'm borrowing, the laundry machine I'm using (unless I'm spreading mycotoxins from my sweat still) etc. I'm acutely sensitive to mycotoxins but the levels in the house must be incredibly minute because a lot of things seemed ok when I took them outside - I just can't chance another cross contamination. Anyway - I wish there were a good source for a lot of things we're leaving behind (expensive air filters, heavenly heat sauna, etc) if anyone has any ideas...of course it couldn't be to anyone who is sensitive to mycotoxins! As far as me, I'm hoping for some help from the lists. I had my mycotoxin lab tests run -- 18 ochratoxin (aspergillus and penicillium) ..6 tricothecene (stachy) I've started on CSM, Ampho B nasal spray, diflucan, liposomal and IV glutathione. I'm kinda piecing this together myself with the support of a local doc who doesn't do this but understands my situation. I'd go to a clinic but worry about housing. Anyone know whether Lieberman's clinic has safe housing yet? Or Dr Gray? I'm unsure how much CSM to use at this point. Any input welcome. I will also go to the local rec center to sauna (we left my sauna behind). But I'd have to shower in chlorinated water - will that defeat the purpose? Living situation - it got cold again so i can't camp. I'm looking to buy a safe RV although worried I'd cross contaminate it at this point until I detox. In the meantime, we rented a house where I'm definitely having some issues with the gas heat - but we also left our ridiculously expensive ($1000/each! ) electric MCS safe heaters behind (oh all those years of investing in MCS products). And I need heat. I can't afford to buy anything expensive now, and cheap heaters offgas. I have no clothes. I bought a few items but realize the machine has residual Tide and either that or mycotoxins are affecting me when I wash clothes. I need to get new stuff and wash only in the sink for now - but how to get out the " new " formaldehyde if washing in a sink? Soaking in vinegar for days? Clothing is a really tough one. I want to get strong enough to be able to care for my baby again. I will do anything. I can't physically build my own RV so , please think of something else! I am mostly fine when outside but don't have much in terms of transportation to get supplies...as I keep somehow?? cross contaminating cars I borrow - OR sensitizing to them (it seems I can't differentiate anymore I'm so overloaded). Anyway - all ideas welcome. This is now past desperation point. I'd like to make the rental house work as best as possible while I'm hear until we figure out where to go. And I'd like to detox as much as possible from the mycotoxins - so that's the first line of action. Thanks Jill ************ **Feeling the pinch at the grocery store? Make meals for Under $10. Guest guest
Dear Jill, So sorry to hear about your baby. What a trial! As a person struggling with mold issues in my present home, I beg you PLEASE get off Diflucan! Its side effects include liver failure. See: http://doublecheckmd.com/EffectsDetail.do?dname=Diflucan & sid=3884 & eid=2064 Your system is already overloaded with toxins. Why don't you try small amounts (1 teaspoon in a pint of water) of activated charcoal instead? Activated charcoal is a universal detoxifier. In a famous experiment 200 years ago, a scientist took a lethal dose of poison with activated charcoal and survived. If that works for you, increase the dosage. You should buy activated charcoal powder made from coconut shells, not coal. Activated charcoal helps me cope with mold, as does Vitamin C in the form of sodium ascorbate added to water. While Vit. C does not kill mold, it does help the body detoxify. Water being the universal solvent, it's important to drink water each day and take in enough salt to replace that which is being washed out. In addition, I have found liquid stabilized oxygen at www.abi4health.com and liquid chlorophyll to be extremely helpful in detoxifying from mold. Have also found kombucha to be very helpful in detoxification. Hope that helps, > > I'm heartbroken but desperate - I just gave my baby to my family, who took > her back East, so that I can figure out where and how to detox. Guest guest
Holy moly Jill, I completly understand, But I will have to ponder this for a while. I am still trying to find alot of these answers myself. As far as the CSM. Do 4 scoops a day. You can mix some sorbitol with it which will sweeten it a bit and help keep things moveing along. I dont know if it helps really or not as I have not had the most possative results myself. I dont know what the reasons for that is because some say it helps and some it does not, but that is the amount Dr. Shoemaker told me to do. But with all the other stuff your takeing there are two things to concider that I have no full answer to. 1.does the CSM remove other medacines along with the toxins. The answer I havwe so far is to stager the medacines so that if it does this should help.??? 2. With all the meds you are takeing, how much of your missery is caused from die off, and if there is alot of die off, do you have a colonization that is not completly dieing? Those are two of my biggest questions because after the CSM and leaving everything etc. a year after that I was tested and found to have a large amount of tricothesines still in my system. Are they still there? I dont know because of the cost of testing etc. Therefore I dont really have those answers but still wonder. Beyond this, I would highly recomend " " or whoever asked what to take, have a good ponder at this post and make your decision based on this. Cross contamination can be a b***h. I wish you all the best and will respond again if I can come up with any better of a reply. Chris... Guest guest
Hugs to you. Sometimes it very difficult doing what's right. Giving your child to your parents for a while was a very good decision. It might keep her from having breathing problems/asthma. Just remember your goal is to keep her protected and safe first. Just call her a lot to find out how things are going. llaci
Guest guest
--- : I just had to cancel an appt with Dr. Lieberman because I could not find safe housing, do you mind me asking where you stayed? I was going to try the new motel across the street but it has not opened yet. The motels I did call said they DID indeed spray with pesticides and also the apts they recommend have been sprayed in the past (would stop for me) I just couldnt take the chance, and I was so disappointed. Where did you stay that was safe for you? My other problem was that I do not have a vehicle, that is why the motel across the street was appealing. Thanks, so glad you are doing well and the detox brought your health back. D In , " kalemagem@... We literally undressed in the garage and had new clothes in the house waiting to change into. I hate to tell you,but I got even sicker where I was not able to even go outside as I was reacting to everything and ended up being pretty much house bound for 6 mths. Guest guest
With ALL the anti fungal medications you run the risk of liver failure. You should be monitored very closely. --- In , " heliotropium@... " <heliotropium@...> wrote: > > Dear Jill, > > So sorry to hear about your baby. Guest guest
When you're out of that home and completely away from the mold, maybe that would be the time to take Diflucan. I think Diflucan can do the job; but I doubt you should be taking it long term. When I was put on it, I took it every other day for no more than two weeks due to the severe reactions it could have. Luckily it did the job in that time and I was out of the mold environment. llaci
Guest guest
Thank - I'm actually out of the house and away from the contaminated items (this was all " just " a cross contamination so no spores but mycotoxins that I'm acutely sensitive to) -- anyway, what were the severe reactions you had to Diflucan. I'm taking it and still only feel reactions to the things I normally do...what should I watch for? They are monitoring my liver... **************Feeling the pinch at the grocery store?
