Hi...

It has been my experience that grain vinegars and apple cider vinegars are

very different. Apple cider vinegar has a thousand uses( now don't ask me to

name them :-) ) I t is one of the best cleansers and mineral

sources around. Have never had problems with it unless the person was

allergic to it.

Best wishes...Byron

Dianna...

I would think you could stay on it , if the reason you were told to go off

regular vinegar was due to candida. Best to talk with your doc since they

are treating you.

Best wishes...Byron

Hi Guys,

I hope everyone is feeling good today. : ) I have a question.. I have been

drinking a Tbs.of Braggs Organic Apple Cider Vinegar first thing every

morning with 8ozs.of cold water to cut fat and loose weight along with other

things like lethicin.. I had been off abx so didn't have to worry too much

abt yeast infections, but now I am back on Bicillin Injections (OUCH!!!)

and the nurse said that I should stay away from vinegar while on abx cuz it

will cause more yeast. I asked herif it was true if the vinegar was organic

but she didn't think it made a difference. Do any of you guys know abt that ?

I have kind of gotten used to my lil morning fix. : ) I could just wait it

out and find out for myself, but then that mean ... well.. you know :(

Thanks Guys & have a good day : )

Hi I am on Celexa too...smile...haven't been diagnosed with lymes yet...but

the doc who thinks and says I have CFS has given it to me and he said it

would calm my nerves down..it has...I kind of feel wired too...It has helped

some with the depression though..>I have to give him that...but doesn't seem

to be helping with the pain...but I guess it wouldn't since it is an

anti-depressent...

Hi Val,

YES.. thats why I posted, because the Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar with a cold

glass of water every morning for one... made me regular : ) and it made me

feel so awake and refreshed.. I felt like it gave me more energy and cut my

apetite also. I was even planning to start taking it three times a day b4

meals but then went back on BiCillin and was afraid of the yeast. But as soon

as I am off ABX.. I DO plan on going back to it .. In the meantime back to

acidophilus and yougurt : ( I like the vinegar much better : )

Thanks for responding Val.

Have a great day !

Hi Sharon ,

I think the weight gain is a major cause of depression , for me anyway .. I

have gained 30lbs. I used to be so active.. even during a remission with

lyme I was able to exercise, but now I just can't do it.. I exercise one day

and am in bed for several. I have a bad back and it just puts me right out,

plus I just don't have the energy . I am taking Lecithin and apple cider

vinegar.. I also take CoQ10 and L Cartenine they are (as far as I understand)

supposed to cut fat and increase metabolism.. if anyone knows more abt lyme

& weight loss I'd also LOVE to hear it . And to answer ur question Sharon ..

NO unfortunately I have not lost any weight yet, but I also eat alot of fast

food and junk only because I just don't have the strenght to prepare meals at

times.. We should spend more time on " Good Food " and prehaps share afew qucik

and easy healthy recipes " I'll bet alot of us have the same problem with

food, and as we all know eating healthy food is a big concern with lyme

also . Hey we should just all move in together in one big house hire a chef

and just all eat drink and be healthy !!! How does that sound ?? : )

.. Hope everyone is feeling well today .

I'm a little curious.. I know alot of us have tried anti depression meds....

and alot of us like myself have had not so good side effects..I have had to

quit them all together.. but my question is.. have any of you guys tried to

use natural antidepressives like St. 's Wort.. Kava Kava.. or anythign

like that with great sucess.. If you have can you please share it with the

group . I would love to try a natural alternative.. I have tried both St.

s Wort and Kava But don't feel any better ..been on them for 4 weeks

now.. but nada.. Just curious......

I think Apple cider vinegar is different from other types and I don't think

it is as bad for your eagrding yeast type stuff. Would you consider using it

in combo witht he bicillin. By theway how much bicillin are you taking?

An excellent, but unfortunately out-of-print, book on this subject is Vermont

Folk Medicine. Talks about the benefits of apple-cider vinegar, honey, and

castor oil. Sometimes alone, sometimes in combination ... all sorts of health

uses. I've tried several and truly believe in them.

Forget the good food recipes! I want my Chocolate Chip Almond Biscotti!

I want it now! Waaa!

I am going through withdrawls. I am making some Saturday morning.

I have had my share of salads, veggies, healthy casseroles etc., etc.,

skinless, boneless lightly sauted chicken!

I want my Biscotti!!!

vinegar

From: a Perza <chestnutt@...>

If you were going to drink vinegar.. the reasons would be for a cleanse

and CERTAINLY not to fight yeast. Quite the opposite as I am sure you

have figured out from most of us who are familiar with Candida issues.

However, if you are looking to diet and cleanse your system, apple-cider

vinear (a capful) in water is a very healthy drink. This is recomended

by those in the fitness and health industry. Personally, I really like

this conconction, but for me... a lover of balsamic vinegar on my

salads, I am sad to say that this is a BIG BIG NO NO!

Myra, as mentioned early by another person, the vinigar will cure the

symptoms, but not the root of the problem if you have chronic candida in

your intestines. This is not just a vaginal issue.. it goes much deeper

than that. (double entendre there!)

Dear a,

I will, I think I was drinking to much milk and my body got to alkaline.

He was trying to put more acid in my body to balance it out. I do have alot

of other problems with my health. Thanks to Doctors who made bad choice for

me I have a sheeps stomach and gut when there was nothing wrong with what I

had. So I am afraid of doing to much to it as they never told me how to

take care of myself after they did this to me. I have tried to get lawyers

and attorneys to help me but to no avail. I also deal with plastic

disolving inside of me that they refuse to take out stating that if they

fixed it that was admitting guilt and I could sue them. You can't if they

pay off all the attorneys and lawyers you try to get. I really did not want

to sue anyone just wanted my health and to be left alone. I was never ill

before they did this garbage to me. Sorry I am rattling here. Myra

Vinegar

From: a Perza <chestnutt@...>

Myra.. all I can say is that I am glad it worked. That is amazing. I

guess different things have different effects on different people..

Again, this is all relative to the chronic state of the condition. I

have also used vinegar when I had a yeast infection and yes it worked. I

have used garlic, yogurt, acidophilis tablets...... At this stage in

my life my entire system has crashed and this is attributed to an over

abundance of yeast in the intestines.

Anyhow, you have a great doctor to suggest that. I am impressed. I

just hate when they hand out those perscribtions when their is a natural

remedy. Please commend him for me..
