Guest guest
What about using enclosing personal items in a box with an ozone generator and turing it on for an hour?
Guest guest
There are companies that do this professionally, but you have to be very careful. High ozone can melt plastics and destroy some things. I had thought about it for my car, but I think I'll just pour vinegar down the outside sides of windows. I wonder if steam cleaning the engine would help rid it of mold? Barth --- MS> What about using enclosing personal items in a box with an ozone generator and turing it on for an hour? Guest guest
I don't know if steam cleaning the engine would help, as it has mostly to do with cleaning the outside of the engine which shouldn't (imho) affect the inside of the car or a/c vents. Guest guest
I wonder if steam cleaning the air conditioner out would do the trick, or getting a new a/c for car if the car was still in good condition otherwise. > > I don't know if steam cleaning the engine would help, as it has mostly to do with cleaning the outside of the engine which shouldn't (imho) affect the inside of the car or a/c vents. > Sam >
Guest guest
I wonder if you could do that, or if the moisture from the steam would be an issue. I've been looking into this, if I come up with anything reasonable I will send it along and see what you and the other list members think. Thanks, Sam I wonder if steam cleaning the air conditioner out would do the trick, or getting a new a/c for car if the car was still in good condition otherwise. Guest guest
I have done this many times successfully, for mycotoxins, just don't do plastics, TV, Laptop, the plastic degrades, and start exuding more radiation, barium and mercury. I have not found a way to successfully de-contaminate laptops and TV. But Apple makes a new one of aluminum and glass. > What about using enclosing personal items in a box with an ozone generator and turing it on for an hour? > > > > > >
Guest guest
-Forgot to add, will ruin elastic, and de-color leather, and I would leave it on all night, if you ozone for just a little while, it will just implode spores, making more toxin, so wash very well with disinfectant first, then ozone. > What about using enclosing personal items in a box with an ozone generator and turing it on for an hour? > > > > > >
Guest guest
--- : Are you saying that ozone WILL neutralize mycotoxins? I have consulted with many professionals that told me it would not. My son bought a generator to use in my home and he was told he should NOT have used it. I am confused again. Guest guest
There is no home mycotoxin sensor. Items that have been around mold growth emit a burning sensation that I, and others like me, feel. Intensely. If I am near such an item I become very sick with mold symptoms. I believe this burning comes from mycotoxins. Some do not, so we call it the badness. When I ozone an object as I described, the badness goes away ,and the object no longer makes me sick. I would never recomend ozoning a house or apt. The ozone will implode the spores present and make the badness much worse, and melt plastic and make it exude its own badness. > : Are you saying that ozone WILL neutralize mycotoxins?
