I guess maybe I should term this differently. Would anyone here use

blued pine for building a house?

I just have to say, parrots being the incredibly smart and cute birds

that they are

I would take care to only feed them things I would have no problem

eating myself.

Maybe cherry wood is good for birds..check first... something

completely nontoxic?

I would cut it myself if there was any doubt/ Never anything from

lumber stores..

You must have a LOT of birds!

(cool!)

Bue treated wood is toxic, its treated with boric acid.. (a fungicide)

Typically hard woods are toxic.  Wilting cherry leaves will release cyanide and

should not be eaten by animals.
