All night long, it's toss and turn, moan and groan. Vicki, is there any possibility you have sleep apnea? Sleep disturbances, including sleep apnea and snoring, were believed to be associated with obesity, but a recent study on adult, obese females revealed that there was actually no connection. On the other hand, sleep disturbances do seem to be connected with diabetes. Rob wasn't even aware he had sleep apnea, but when he was tested, he was diagnosed with both severe central sleep apnea and severe obstructive sleep apnea. To help the " dry-mouth, " you can buy one of those charming mini-pitchers with a drinking glass cover. One of my favorite catalogs is " Lillian Vernon " ( http://www.lillianvernon.com ) They always have 1-2 different versions of those. << A couple of times when I had 3 a.m. insomnia I tried watching a video of an opera with subtitles and...guess what...I stayed wide awake for the whole thing! Go figure.. >> That made me chuckle ... Sometimes when I can't sleep, I actually consider whacking myself upside the head with a hammer! Vicki, maybe you can help me here. In the movie " The Year of Living Dangerously, " there is this scene where the itty-bitty photographer is playing this opera music sung by this wonderful Japanese opera singer ... I love it so much, and I would like so much to know who she is so that I could order some of her music. Susie
