Guest guest
MJ, Have Matt take that gun home. It is so dangerous to have it available to your husband. He could not only hurt himself , he could hurt someone else if he takes it out. Any weapon shouldn't be available to someone with dementia who isn't thinking clearly. It is the same as driving a car, which they shouldn't be doing either. I know it is hard to ask them to give up that stuff, but I would get it out when he isn't aware it is gone. If he can't find it, I would tell him it has to be around somewhere. It won't be long and he won't be thinking about guns or remember he had one.
