Guest guest
FYI - last night's event was a hit. Whew!! We had a full house even w/ terrible weather & traffic. It flowed beautifully and everyone seemed to not only learn a lot but enjoy their time too. Dr. Graboys sold all the books he had with him. He signed books for everyone. One of his patients was there and got up to talk highly of Dr. Graboys. Dr. Gomperts had a power point presentation. And I was finally able to meet him IRL. Dr. Graboys' wife Vicki spoke too and answered questions. The food was a success w/ the 20 Super Brain foods theme. All the attendees took the time to go around to the different tables and pick up information. The CEO of the nursing home was so moved that he was about to purchase all the books (but they sold out) and decided that he'd like dedicate an entire page on their website to LBD (they already talk a bit about LBD - but he wants to go into detail about it.) I put photos up... Oh yeah... Kim of LBDA was there and she presented me with the award... I was so embarrassed... Didn't post the pictures where my face was beet red.
