Thyroid question - response

My thyroid also went wacky after mold. I go to an ND (natural dr) and she is

detoxing my thyroid - we are a stubborn duo and we're trying not to go to

synthroid. Who wants to be on medicine every day of their lives - and that is

what synthroid is. My dr's philosophy is that my thyroid isn't producing the

hormone properly...so we have to figure out why, not just replace it. My energy

levels are definitely up and I've lost some weight since working with her and

being on an anti inflammation diet. I am gluten, dairy and sugar free - and it

helps tremendously with my breathing also. While it was difficult to adapt to ,

I am able to eat rice and you'd be amazed how they can make ice cream with rice

these days! I would encourage anyone who doesn't want to be on meds to locate an

ND. They are licensed in several states in the US, so they've gone to medical

school. Between my ND and an applied kiniseologist chircopracter that I've

found, I'm in much better

shape than I've been in the past 4 years.

Be well....
