Guest guest
Fixing my RT3 ratio and dealing with my adrenals is such hard work! I'm doing the hc increase w/ trouble. I tried the schedule you helped me plan out (7.5, 5, 2.5, 2.5) for a few days and got so shaky, hot, red, swollen, thigh muscles hurt, angry & I would wake up 2 1/2 hours earlier than normal every morning w/ trouble breathing & would be so hot. I lowered it to 5, 2.5, 2.5, 2.5 & was better but the next day I felt nausea & skin was blotchy. So, after a couple of days of suffering I went up to 5, 5, 2.5, 2.5 thinking my body needed more hc. But this is day 2 on that and I am super sleepy, hot, really swollen, red, blotchy, and very, very shaky. So, my question is this: Could that night of the heart racing, nausea, dizzy, shakes, low-blood sugar have come from needing more T3? I ask this because the next night the same thing started happening: scared, heart racing, nausea... and I decided to take 6.25mcg of T3. I felt calmer, nice, no nausea. My thyroid levels are very low and I'm only on 31.25mcg of T3. Any suggestions for this mess? Guest guest
Gayle, have you tried eating when you feel these symptoms? Thsis does nto sound like any hypo symptoms I ahve ever heard of, it sounds hypoglycemic or just plain adrenaline. Adrenaline is caused by hypoglycemia and once it is in your body I am certain it has used up what little T3 you have and that is why you get releif form the symptoms woth T3, but more often than not it simply passes. Adrenaline does not stay in the system long. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Gayle, I am on T3 and Cortisol SR and the same thing happens when I try to increase from 5-2.5-2.5-2.5 to 5-5-2.5-2.5. I have a hard time breathing at night and have to sleep elevated. I have tried 7.5-5-2.5-2.5 and really have a hard time breathing. I wonder if you are on to something with adding more T3 because my temp in the morning has been 97.2. I know my doctor said add more T3 if my temp is 97 that is hypo, but I think hypo, I read was like even a little higher than 97. I didn't add yet because I wanted to follow the adrenal chart. I don't get the swollen or blotchy, but feel shaky and actually have been waking up shaky.
