Hi , Yes, Lilly makes a disposable Humalog pen, I have some of them. Lilly also makes a 1.5 cartridge for Humalog. And from what everyone says, it should fit in the NovoPen 1.5. As far as taking R and Humalog: If I know I'm eating a very carby meal, I'll take about 5 to 10 H to start getting my blood sugars down, and I take about 20R if I know I'm going to be pigging out on the carbs, and it takes down the rest. Type 2, dx'd 2/84 Novolin N / Novolin R / Humalog / Glucophage / Lipitor / Zestoretic 'Anything else, and I will be able to open my own pharmacy <grin>'
