Guest guest
I have read the messages on this group and others going back months and have found many compelling stories of people suffering terrible illness from their exposure to mold and mold spores. I too have gone a few rounds with mold related illness. But I have found no workable solutions to mold exposure except to leave everything you own behind and run away to a new, hopefully less contaminated, place to live. With all the really smart people who frequent this group, I would think that someone would have a workable solution for renters, students, and other people who can not afford thousands of dollars in mold remediation costs or do not have the authority (regardless of the cost) to initiate a mold remediation. I have also read many postings that lament the fact that most doctors do not even believe that mold exposure has health risks. Those doctors that do recognize that there might be a problem prescribe meds that simply shut down or slow down your auto immune system to relieve the symptoms while the mold continues to invade your body. So, I ask you all, are there no mold contamination solutions that the average person can implement and afford? Don't bother with chlorine bleach, there is ample information published that aside form being poison, bleach does not kill either mold fungus or mold spores. One of the problems is all of us are " average " , that is why the mold contamination has taken every cent and every source of energy we have. Seriously!
