Presumptive diagnosis was acute anterior wall myocardial infarction with

cardiogenic shock.

Associated symptoms included tachypnea and diaphoresis. Respiratory rate

was 24 respirations per minute on 100% oxygen saturation nonrebreather mask.

The patient was s/l sody? (could it be steady?) at 94%.

The patient then developed multiple episodes of ventricular fibrillation,

all defibrillated successfully and continued to be given lidocaine and then

placed on a lidocaine and subsequently s/l bretylium? (maybe bertilium? or

vertilium?) drip.

Any ideas?

I have a friend diagnosed with idiopathic cardiomyopathy. She would like some information on it. Does anyone know of good accurate medical information sites?

SuzieA Life? Cool! Where can I download one of those from?
