Guest guest
I've found that when I'm not getting much exposure, if I take mini-doses, taking 4 gm of cholestyramine spread out in two or three mini-doses through the day gives me very few side effects at all and still reduces the inflammation that I get quite a bit compared to none. I carry packages with me so I can put it in water during the day. The crucial thing for me seems to be taking it on an empty stomach and then following it with a small amount of food with fat, then, later on some fiber. If I get a big exposure, though, I need to take more. Lee, have you ever tried taking acetyl-l-carnitine alone or acetyl-l-carnitine with alpha-lipoic acid and/or arginine (NO donor and improves microcirculation) for your neuropathy? Lots of hits on PubMed on those nutrients and the word " neuropathy " in various combinations! http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez Good luck! > > >> >>I went to Dr. Shoemaker in Oct and doing the >> CSM noticed within three days that pains in my legs disappeared and >> felt a little more energetic but have been experiencing numbness and >> tingling in my hands and feet. >
