Guest guest
Anne, Thanks for sharing - that was quite a story. I'm glad you got your wallet back with your ID and stuff, that's the main thing. Maybe it'll change that person's mind next time they decide to try and pull something like that... Hi guys, We all have millions of stories about what problems and negative things our children bring about because they are " different " . Well how about this for a switch. Yesterday was a real, REAL bad day. It was topped off when I was in a semi trance and left my grocery cart unattended (dumb I know). Of course my purse was stolen. I imediately dideverything we're supposed to; police, security, cancel credit cards etc. I notched it up to another lesson learned in stupidity.Today I received a call from a local post office informing me the thief had left the wallet in a letterbox. I picked it up and looked through it to see what was left. The cash in the main part was gone but the credit cards were looked through but neatly replaced. In the wallet is a section dedicated to Sara ie. MD's , insurance, deafblind contacts, nursing company, equipment company etc. Included was a good luck envelope with $20 I recieved from a friend of mine when we brought Sara home. Not only was that $ still there but there was a note that said " SORRY " ! If our children can move an anonymous thief like that..... Corny I know but it made me feel a bit better. Guest guest
Anne, It is amazing. If we can move people like that then there really is hope. How very, very touching. Guest guest
Anne, How nice to get your things back. And how wonderful a thief felt bad and apologized. That was a nice story. It must have made a bad day beautiful. It's nice how things turned around for you. Now if our children could just move the people who are supposed to understand, be sympathetic, and compassionate.
