Guest guest
I could not find this. KC said ABC but I flipped through the channels and didn't see it. I finally found it here on CBS at 9 a.m. Why this discrepency over ABC and CBS I don't know, because if I googled " The Doctors " , there was something about it being an ABC show starting last fall, and another site where it mentioned CBS. Maybe it started out on ABC and was dropped and CBS took it. I don't know. I missed it unfortunately. Thanks for the address. > > On the show today, they talked briefly about toxic mold. Guest guest
, I missed the earlier part of the show, but caught the end when the summed up the issues with the family. It seemed like they really glossed over the whole issue. They did address the fact that the family had one red flag in that all of them had an increase in inflamatory markers, but then said that they were all ok (unless I misunderstood and these days could be). I was disapointed with the part I did see. But the segment that you've shared with us at least addresses the potential effects. Maybe this is at the least a step towards a more open attitude to such a devastating exeprience for so many of us. Thanks for the sharing the info, Sam On the show today, they talked briefly about toxic mold. Guest guest
What I appreciated about it is the fact that they had the courage to mention mycotoxins and how extremely dangerous they could be and that mycotoxins effect health on the cellular level. He even got into cytotoxins, if only for a second. They got into the dangers of stachy exposure and the testers who went into the home were totally shocked at the levels present in the home. All in all I thought it was good but more importantly, it offered a great service to the issue because a nationally-aired and respected TV program about health say that mold can harm health. I wish they went a bit further into inflammatory markers, though. It took great leadership for these doctors to tackle this subject. We need more like them who are not bullied by ACOEM and the like. Of major importance is the fact that at the end, the wife broke down and cried, stating that was said about the health effects on the show was drastically different from what her own doctors were telling her: " Can't find anything wrong; you must be depressed, why don't you take a pill? " Her doctors basically dismissed her health issues because they didn't know enough to ask a few questions or just didn't know enough. Who is responsible for her treating physicians being in the dark about this issue? Could we please have a congressional hearing so we can get rid of the conflicts of interest and get some truth in the medicine and science of mold so not one more person will have to go through what this woman and her family had to endure?
