Guest guest
I am not having a flare but I don't feel great either. Not a lot of energy. I am going for knee surgery in ten days. Shirley
Guest guest
Someone mentioned that you should probably change your antibiotic every five years, if you are still in need of it. How do you feel. Do you feel better or worse? Are you having a flare? Guest guest
Is there a site with a sort of dictionary for these terms?? I would like to find one so I can look up these medical terms myself. My ANA came back 1:640........ooooppppsss....that poor Rheumy of mine is going to have kittens. I started at 1:80 then 1:160 then Nov. 1:340 now 1:640. The odd thing is I feel better now with my ANA at 1:640 than I did when it was 1:160. Odd huh. Guest guest
Could it be stress because of the anticipated surgery? Guest guest
Apparently the ANA can be high in people without disease. If you feel better, that's probably a better indication than the ANA test. Chris. > I started at 1:80 then 1:160 then Nov. 1:340 now 1:640. Guest guest
I have taken my son to the Quest labs in San Diego area. SOMETIMES they double check with Dr. G's office on the right tests to run (for HHV6) and STILL mess up. If they do the right tests, yes, they can do them. I love the convenience. Our other option is Children's, but it takes ALL afternoon to get down there, park and wait forever in the stark, teeny waiting room. At Quest I can make an appointment online and get right in. Our insurance pays for all the tests when we go to Children's, although Quest says they should when we use Quest. I still end up having to pay as much as $85 when using Quest. Can you go to the Quest labs?
Guest guest
we've gone to Quest, Healthcare Clinical labs or the lab at our local hospital. However, some of his tests require that they be sent out to specialized labs (i.e. Meridian Valley Labs). So I guess it depends on what specifically you're testing for. Guest guest
The majority of the labs can be done through Labcorp. Guest guest
Yes, Quest has done the HHV6 test, but that is also the one they have messed up twice. Guest guest
Hello, I am wondering if anyone has used a company called Biosign Labs for mold blood tests and how their experience was? I feel tired alot and have nausea come and go as well as debilitating sinus headaches once they start. If anyone has any recommendations for a doctor in California that would be great. Thank you.
