Guest guest
Sally, Don't tell her that Tree is BIG earthquake country <G> A couple months ago they had over 200 quakes in less than a week.. most couldn't be felt but there was a couple fair to middlin ones. Anyway, think she'd be interested in visiting No CA this summer for our CHARGE Weekend ??? I'm about a 12 hr drive north of Tree.. Hopes she likes hot weather.. it is desert down there.. it's pretty tho. From someone who lives in 'quake' country too.. we average 3-5 a day thankfully can only feel one about once every two months.. Guest guest
Hi Sally, I live in Southern California and I would like to know more about this 1:1 paraprofessional for combined vision and hearing loss. I need more information about this. I didn't even know we could ask for such a thing in the IEP. I know we may ask for stuff in the IEP, my problem is I don't know what to ask for. I appreciate all the information and help. Guest guest
A one on one aide or para is very commonly used with inclusion programs, where the child is placed in the regular classroom. Any child who cannot function without that kind of support is eligible. But the inclination of many schools is to place children " like that " in self-contained classrooms where there will be several aides and one teacher. I would fight for inclusion.
