Barb, According to R. Close, PhD., PE, " Essential oils offer humanity a

powerful, all natural means of addressing the problem of toxic mold and mildew. "

Everyone should be examining essential oils as a means to help wipe out

disease-causing organisms.

Research on the anti-fungal properties of essential oils show:

1. Essential oils of thyme, oregano, mint, cinnamon, salvia and clove were

found to possess the strongest antimicrobial properties among many tested.

2. Research has shown that lemongrass was effective against Aspergillus flavus,

a toxic mold which causes a variety of infections in the body.

How can we say that essential oils are effective against mold?

The essential oils used in getting rid of mold are safe enough to be considered

food supplements. High quality therapeutic-grade essential oils can be taken

orally. Just be certain you are using an oil from a company you trust. There

are only one or two companies in the world where you can trust the oils enough

to take them orally. To get rid of mold, you diffuse the essential oil and

disperse them over an entire room, which is a safer way to enjoy their benefits.

They smell good. The oils used to eliminate mold are cinnamon (Cinnamomum

verum) and clove (Syzygum aromaticum) mixed with rosemary, lemon, and eucalyptus

radiata. The blend of essential oils doesn't just kill mold and it doesn't stir

up mold spores, it simply removes mold spores from the air and from surfaces in

rooms where it is diffused.
