Guest guest
Jill, 1. This lab is connected with a (local) company whose intent is to remediate by fogging the house. If it doesn't work the first time they will do it again. For free. 2. Mold plates are the least accurate of the culturable methods and they don't detect mycotoxins, dead spores, fragments or any of the other components people can react to. 3. The owner of the lab released a study about 5 years ago which said 1 colony on a mold plate is equivalent to 600 to 1200 colonies with a professional method. While this is a reasonably accurate comparison, what is it not seeing in the 599 to 1199 it misses? While it's nice to get information and numbers, I think your time and money is better spent elsewhere.
