Hi MEJ,

Thanks for some very good info. I'd just like to add my 2 cents worth on

Splenda.

I've been using it for several months now and I just love it. You can cook

with it without getting that weird bitter taste.

Also, more products are beginning to come out with it. The new Diet Rite

and RC Cola has it. Only the cola flavor right now and you have to look for

the ones with the new label that says " no aspartame, no sodium " . They taste

more like the " real thing " !

Another thing you can get made with splenda is the DaVinci Syrups. I don't

know why they call them syrups cause they are very liquid, not thick, but

they are great flavorings and the sugar free ones are now made with splenda.

My personal favorite is Caramel - delicious in coffee! And with the

Amarretto flavor you can make a mean coctail :)
