Testosterone cream making LDL go high

I have been on testosterone cream for a few years now and it makes

me feel good (energy level higher, better muscle tone, good self

esteem

etc). I just had my Lipo-proteing analysis test done and my LDL is

153 with my HDL at 52. My Dr. suggested zocor but no way. I am

going

to try the Mediterrean Diet and decrease my testosterone cream to

once

a day. Right now I take 1.5mg twice a day. Just want to know if

any-

one has had this happen to them. At first I thought it was just

menopause but now am thinking that testosterone cream might have

something to do with it too.

Thanks

Barbara

Are you taking 1.5mg of T twice a day (a total of 3mg) or is it a

total of 1.5mg/day? 3mg would be a bit of a high dose; most females

use 1 or 2mg.

1.5 mg twice a day so a total of 3 mg daily. I have dropped it down

to 1.5 mg a day.
