The Id in Psychology and in our LOs

I want to share something I learned in a Psychology class that I took not too

long ago, and it brought to my attention a behavior of LBD. I learned that the

Id is from primitive times and is genetically built into us.

It is our unconscious psyic energy that works to satisfy our basic needs, urges

and desires that give us pleasure, which demands immediate gratification of

needs. The Id would allow us to do any sexual behaviors in public.

Definition: According to Freud¢s psychoanalytic theory of personality, the id is

the personality component made up of unconscious psychic energy that works to

satisfy basic urges, needs, and desires. The id operates based on the pleasure

principle, which demands immediate gratification of needs.

The Ego has developed, which keeps us conscious of embarrassment such as;

undressing in front of unknown people, masterbating in front of people and

displaying anything sexual in front of others that could cause us

embarrassement.

This leads me to believe that when some of our LO (Loved Ones) display sexual

behaviors with unknown people or anyone around them, it is their Id at work and

the Ego is no longer there. It makes sense that the Ego is no longer there,

since our LOs don't care what they look like or have any need to impress anyone.

A little education for today. LOL It's the Id vs the Ego

P.S. this is my opinion of what has happened to our LOs that display sexual

behaviors in the open.
