Guest guest
I have a question regarding the Deafblind label, the Education Act, etc. Is this a Federal Act, or just provinicial in Ontario? I am in New Brunswick, what is up with the Deafblind labelling, etc down here in the Maritimes, is it the same? Thanks, Mom to Kennedy 2yr old CHARGEr, 10, 8, and wife to Graeme New Brunswick, Canada Visit the " Weir homepage " at: http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Palms/5716 Hi , my knowledge of what is available in New Brunswick is virtually nil. And I believe each province has its own guidelines regarding education and funding, we've experienced many changes over the course of the recent government's term in office, and its the provincial bunch that are responsible. So far, the special needs education dollars have been cut by some $200,000,000...disgusting! However, that doesn't help you any. I would like to suggest someone for you to contact, if you haven't already. There is a New Brunswick chapter of the Canadian Deafblind and Rubella Association and a lady there named Curtis who I know well. I worked with her son years ago who resides here in Ontario. Anyhow, please contact her, she may be able to lead you in the right direction, or have the information herself. Telephone . FAX and e-mail cdbra@.... Best of luck, let me know if its helpful regards catherine wareham deafblind consultant ontario canada
Guest guest
, Thank you for the information. I have a little ways to go to start worrying about this stuff, but I want to be as prepared and up to date on my information as possible when the time comes to arrange for Kennedy's schooling. I will email at my earliest convenience and see what's up here in NB!
