Guest guest
My wife loves them and I eat them in a pinch. That are actually pretty darn good, but are a bit short on protein for a body building diet. Thanks, -- On Thu, Aug 28, 2008 at 4:33 PM, Chazney Murdock wrote: > Hi Everyone!!! Guest guest
I usually try to avoid them due to the sodium content...it's astronomical! I LOVE the south beach wrap kits, more than 20 grams of protein, moderate carbs, and HIGH fiber. A perfect blend in my opinion. Guest guest
The wrap kits aren't bad and they have whole grains too. Again though quite a bit of sodium, but they are a better choice than some. Guest guest
I don't know what Body Pump is or if your circuit is more aerobic than strength training. Rather than try to dissect your program, which I am probably not fully qualified for, I will give a different view/advice. Some people can mix and match things and do very well if their well read and studied in exercise and nutrition--Where it's an occupation or hobby. Programs exist so you don't have to spend too much time constructing them your own. What your doing now looks pretty good to me, but if your asking the questions your asking I think picking a pre-designed program is the way to go for you. I suggest you pick a reputable exercise and nutrition program and follow for a set period of time, and then review your success--then adjust and repeat. Why not give BFL a try? It is well structured, proven, and very simple to follow for the results you get. I think there are many programs out there you could look to, but most if not all will follow the same fundamentals as BFL. For all of you who think others run the forum, they don't. We all are part of it. It's give and take. There's no welcoming committee. No one is obligated more than anyone else to do anything. Maybe those who have kept it afloat are tired of doing that. Maybe it's time to give others a turn. Whew, I'm glad I got that off my chest. My 2 cents. Guest guest
and Deb, Good for both of you for acknowledging and working on your fitness issues. There are always times when other things intrude on working toward your goals, but if you can just hold steady and not gain during those times, you can get back with your program when things get less hectic. Try to combine exercise and good eating even when not completely doing all you planned. The thing that works best for me is writing down every bite that goes into my mouth and estimating the calorie total for each day. It makes you more aware of choices. Best of luck in your progress toward fitness. Sorry people are not posting to this forum as much. It sort of waxes and wanes. W (unknown) Hi Deb.Welcome to the group! I don't know where everyone is. Guest guest
Kenny G. makes me homocidal! I think there is something about jazz.. there is no pattern to it and it unhinges my brain. Thanks for being here. I , too , thought it was just me. I'm 51, I remember my sister torturing me with smacking eating noises when I was probably 4-5. Mom just said tune it out, ignore it, blah blah, No one ever understood. My Dad's jaw would pop when he chewed, I could NOT stay at the table or I would make other noises to distract my self. Still do. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I HATE JAZZ MUSIC TOO!!! I hate the sound of it and I find myself hating the people that play it. Guest guest
You either don't have misophonia or just have low self esteem. This condition is real, not just a justification for odd behavior. Do you feel like you don't deserve to be helped or don't deserve to know why you feel like this? You can go ahead and keep thinking you're an undeserving freak or realize that isn't your fault chewing, sneezing slurping etc cause you to be enraged. I am not only affected by noise but also by the sight of such things, and even the knowledge of these things going on makes me upset. If I don't vocalize my frustration, the rage gets worse. Thank god the only people who trigger these reactions are close family. Sound familiar? Ask anyone here if they are experiencing the same things. It's not just you, you're not the only one, you don't just have weird feelings. We're all getting help and you should reach out for help too. Hi,I'm new to this group. I believe I have misophonia and like many others in this group, certain sounds are highly annoying to me. I'm 54 years old, professional and have always assumed that I was a little peculiar (to myself of course). Couldn't understand why so many sounds would annoy me to the point of avoidance while the rest of my family seemed indifferent to these sounds.I may sound skeptical , and forgive me for saying so, but deep down inside, I still think that this 'condition' is being used a little loosely.I am not in any way downplaying this sit or its members. I feel relieved to be able to connect with others who share the same symptoms; however, I am skeptical about how much of the way we feel can be attributed to certain conditions. I have been 'different' in this respect since I was about 8. Certain sounds were unbearable to hear. I felt like a freak. I may still sometimes feel like a freak and therefore I prefer to suffer quietly without mentioning a word to anyone. Most members of my family just think I am sensitive to sounds and that I have a very good hearing.I hope I'm not offending anyone; that is not my objective. I just think that way too many people use different conditions to justify sometimes odd behavior or feelings. I hope that I become more comfortable with the knowledge that this site brings. My objective is to learn from others and to accept this condition . Again, please accept my apology if I have offended any participants. I am here as others are; to feel better and to share. All the best to you,Margaret =

Guest guest
Carolyne,Thanks for your comments. I assume I have misophonia based on the comments and information I viewed on 20 20 last week. I haven't been diagnosed with this condition. As for feeling undeserving; the reason I am on this board is to seek help and presumably feel like I do deserve it. Why would feeling like a freak be synonymous to feeling undeserving for help? I am not ashamed to admit that I have felt freakish at times and still do; after all isn't what this board is all about -honesty. As for low self esteem; maybe - but not more so than 50% of the people I know. I don't know much about misophonia;just heard about it last week on 20 20.Carolyne, I mentioned several times in my last e-mail that I didn't intend to offend anyone nor diminish this board; I am new here. Don't know much about misophobia. I am learning.
Guest guest
I mentioned that I didn't intend to offend _ I 'm sorry that you feel this way. I speak for myself. I'm sorry that you don't like what I said but I repeated many times that I didn't want to offend. As for calling me a troll - THAT is offensive. I don't think that I should be judged based on how I feel and express myself on this board. I'm new here and learning. That's what I presume it's all about. Again, I apologize for offending but I don't apologize for how I feel.Margaret To: Soundsensitivity Sent: Sunday, May 27, 2012 2:13:42 AM Subject: Re: (unknown) > Of course you have offended some of us.
