Guest guest
Hi All, i haven't posted in quite a while, but I'd like your opinion on this. I guess I know part of the answer, but it is a little more complicated. I swim at the ONLY warm pool in the bay area. It is kept at 91-94 degrees, and is heaven to swim in. It takes care of my fibro, another immune system illness and depression. We are a community of disabled, young and old, and I would say i without it I can't imagine what I would do. Sounds great, until ( and I'll make this short as it has a very long history). It is a national landmark which the owners ( the school district) have let go to hell. The building height is about 25 feet, with an wind activated exhaust symptom. But alas, there is terrible mold near the ceiling surrounding the upper edge of the roof. Is that mold reaching the pool and it's users? And in what possible amounts. I don't get mold hits, BUT, it may be affecting my system. I swim there about 8 hours a week. I will post a few pictures on the photo site. It is scheduled for demolition in 2011, but we are not sure we will have a warm pool by then. Many people's lives depend on this pool. Thanks and Happy Holiday to all, Lori K.
