Guest guest
I found a resource that "might" be helpful for Washington DC. Psychology Today has a "find a therapist" page with a very good and user-friendly search engine for all jurisdictions. It might be worthwhile to at least get started by narrowing your search down to what you're looking for. This is no guarantee that a therapist actually does what he or she says in their marketing, but at least this approach may be better than the yeller pages. N. Please note: I am not asking about resources for AS folks; I am asking about resources for AS *partners*. Am aware of the Asperger Adults of Greater Washington already (and they had no specific ideas for partners, btw). I am looking for either support groups, or specific marriage counselors/therapists who specialize in AS or the autism spectrum. Or other resources for AS partners in the Washington, DC area. >> >> Thanks. >> > > > > >------------------------------------ > > "We each have our own way of living in the world, together we are like a symphony. >Some are the melody, some are the rhythm, some are the harmony >It all blends together, we are like a symphony, and each part is crucial. >We all contribute to the song of life." > ...Sondra > > We might not always agree; but TOGETHER we will make a difference. > > ASPIRES is a closed, confidential, moderated list. >Responsibility for posts to ASPIRES lies entirely with the original author. > Do NOT post mail off-list without the author's permission. > When in doubt, please refer to our list rules at: > http://www.aspires-relationships.com/info_rules.htm > ASPIRES ~ Climbing the mountain TOGETHER > http://www.aspires-relationships.com >
