Dysbiosys is very common with MCS, CFS, ME, etc.

Correcting the digestive system was key to my recovery.

It should be done first to avoid malnutrition symptoms that

complicate a differential diagnose.

Most doctors can not deal with malnutrition in anyway.

They want nothing to do with diet changes, as it takes

money out of their pockets, erh, I mean they take less

money out of your pocket to put into theirs. <grin>

Corrections can begin with probiotics (acidophilus) and

superfoods (chlorophyll).

There are 'therapeutic' level of probiotics you can take.

Once every 3-6 months you can do this, and more often

if needed, but not for months at a time, as it can build

up probiotic colonies to abnormal levels and harm you.

For 5 breakfast/dinners in a row, take 3 times the labelled

dose of the probiotic. That is just 2.5 days worth, 3 breakfasts

and 2 dinners. It will restore the needed level of stomach

and intestinal fauna to restore digestion, and absorption

of nutrient molecules through the stomach walls into the

blood stream.

Do NOT do any more than what is above.

In fact, start slow, testing for sensitivity to higher levels of probiotics.

I react badly to several strains, so I buy only one brand now,

which has only 3 strains.

There are many other issues with this, and I would think this

has been discussed on this list, many times. If not, then

someone should post questions, and I will respond over

the next week or two. I've way exceeded my daily limit

for typing email the last 4 days.

I appreciate your input. The doctor also said this could signal anemia or

cancer. They will re-test his blood again in a couple months.

One can lead a horse to water... I hope it helps him.

In either of those cases, increasing the digestion ability would

reduce those symptoms and even kill off the cancer (eat 1/2 or more

of your food being dark purple veggies - I forget the name of this diet plan).

Eating more ground grown food will increase the iron intake, which

can be inhibited by chemicals in non organic produce. The iron blood

content should then improve.

So, eating more dark purple veggies should aid his body NOW if it's

cancer, or if he has anemia. Or almost any other ailment, as the

body needs minerals to heal (see other post). I do not believe in

" waiting " for the doctor to " cure " me, as I know no doctor has ever

" cured " anyone, as the body's immune system mechanism does ALL the

curing. A doctor can merely change 'inputs' to your body, and hope

for the best. The rest of the healing comes from you. From your

mind. From your desire to be free of ailments. My 2 cents.

I would not wait on the diet change. Again, per a prior post of

mine, if you read them all, hard to do as they get long, I advocate

not taking a single 'cure', but doing 4 treatments, just like German

doctors are required to tell their patients, 4 different treatments

are always available in German for any one ailment. Why do just

1? When doing all them gets you better much faster?

Or disproves the diagnose so you can have the doctor 'guess' at the

next diagnose.

Your brother has my best wishes for the fastest recovery.
