It's city water It's NOT very likely to be the city water if the cold water is clean. Once you tell me it is the cold water, explicitly tell me, based upon your OWN eyes, then I will post more. Eliminate the hot water heater first. I talked with this city's Water Manager, and she was quite adamant they would not investigate until the hot water heater had been professional inspected. You can do it yourself. It's very easy. But for the elderly it can be difficult. Your brother can easily do it all for them (see my previous post). >and they have >complained, but the city denies that it's their problem. I don't >believe that they have even investigated. Correct action on their part. See above, and past post. I try to keep my posts short, and to the point, as typing is a slow process. One day all my posts will be online, by the end of summer. Then I can earn money on my typing time. >PB> So, your parents have everyone on their side, including the neighbors >PB> who are suffering from sewer gas exposure as well. > >I never thought about having them ask the neighbors. I called about the sidewalk the city never fixed. Read the new NY city rules regarding who is responsible for fixing the sidewalk. It has changed in the last 30 years. I was surprised. Is the black back? I really do not want to spend time typing 'more questions' as it's not worth it to me. Just the way it is. So, if you want 'informative' answers from me, then put more details, using your time, not mine. I know it's tough, but I was paid, then I would easily do this all day, every day. I like it, but I have to draw a line at less than 1 hour a day, or even less than that. They should sell and move to clean home, it sounds like. If they have bad health symptoms, then they should only sleep there, in a safe bedroom, and leave during the day and night. What part of NY? Near the ocean? In the country side?
