Guest guest Posted April 25, 2009 Report Share Posted April 25, 2009 I wonder if other forms or companies/pharmacies that make glutathione would have different sources? I wonder if Glutathione would be contradictory for person that was allergic to Torula Yeast? ... <!-- #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-mkp{ border:1px solid #d8d8d8;font-family:Arial;margin:14px 0px;padding:0px 14px;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-mkp hr{ border:1px solid #d8d8d8;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-mkp #hd{ color:#628c2a;font-size:85%;font-weight:bold;line-height:122%;margin:10px 0px;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-mkp #ads{ margin-bottom:10px;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-mkp .ad{ padding:0 0;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-mkp .ad a{ color:#0000ff;text-decoration:none;} --> <!-- #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-sponsor #ygrp-lc{ font-family:Arial;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-sponsor #ygrp-lc #hd{ margin:10px 0px;font-weight:bold;font-size:78%;line-height:122%;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-sponsor #ygrp-lc .ad{ margin-bottom:10px;padding:0 0;} --> <!-- #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-mlmsg {font-size:13px;font-family:arial, helvetica, clean, sans-serif;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-mlmsg table {font-size:inherit;font:100%;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-mlmsg select, #yiv1880543596 input, #yiv1880543596 textarea {font:99% arial, helvetica, clean, sans-serif;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-mlmsg pre, #yiv1880543596 code {font:115% monospace;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-mlmsg * {line-height:1.22em;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-text{ font-family:Georgia; } #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-text p{ margin:0 0 1em 0;} #yiv1880543596 dd.last p a { font-family:Verdana;font-weight:bold;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-vitnav{ padding-top:10px;font-family:Verdana;font-size:77%;margin:0;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-vitnav a{ padding:0 1px;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-mlmsg #logo{ padding-bottom:10px;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-reco { margin-bottom:20px;padding:0px;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-reco #reco-head { font-weight:bold;color:#ff7900;} #yiv1880543596 #reco-category{ font-size:77%;} #yiv1880543596 #reco-desc{ font-size:77%;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-vital a{ text-decoration:none;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-vital a:hover{ text-decoration:underline;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-sponsor #ov ul{ padding:0 0 0 8px;margin:0;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-sponsor #ov li{ list-style-type:square;padding:6px 0;font-size:77%;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-sponsor #ov li a{ text-decoration:none;font-size:130%;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-sponsor #nc{ background-color:#eee;margin-bottom:20px;padding:0 8px;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-sponsor .ad{ padding:8px 0;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-sponsor .ad #hd1{ font-family:Arial;font-weight:bold;color:#628c2a;font-size:100%;line-height:122%\ ;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-sponsor .ad a{ text-decoration:none;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-sponsor .ad a:hover{ text-decoration:underline;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-sponsor .ad p{ margin:0;font-weight:normal;color:#000000;} #yiv1880543596 o{font-size:0;} #yiv1880543596 .MsoNormal{ margin:0 0 0 0;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-text tt{ font-size:120%;} #yiv1880543596 blockquote{margin:0 0 0 4px;} #yiv1880543596 .replbq{margin:4;} #yiv1880543596 dd.last p span { margin-right:10px;font-family:Verdana;font-weight:bold;} #yiv1880543596 dd.last p span.yshortcuts { margin-right:0;} #yiv1880543596 div.photo-title a, #yiv1880543596 div.photo-title a:active, #yiv1880543596 div.photo-title a:hover, #yiv1880543596 div.photo-title a:visited { text-decoration:none;} #yiv1880543596 div.file-title a, #yiv1880543596 div.file-title a:active, #yiv1880543596 div.file-title a:hover, #yiv1880543596 div.file-title a:visited { text-decoration:none;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-msg p#attach-count { clear:both;padding:15px 0 3px 0;overflow:hidden;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-msg p#attach-count span { color:#1E66AE;font-weight:bold;} #yiv1880543596 div#ygrp-mlmsg #ygrp-msg p a span.yshortcuts { font-family:Verdana;font-size:10px;font-weight:normal;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-msg p a { font-family:Verdana;font-size:10px;} #yiv1880543596 #ygrp-mlmsg a { color:#1E66AE;} #yiv1880543596 div.attach-table div div a { text-decoration:none;} #yiv1880543596 div.attach-table { width:400px;} --> Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There are typically at least 3 ways to make most supplements: 1) food concentration - this is the natural and safe and most expensive way 2) bacterial fermentation - genetically modified bacteria with separate at the end 3) fungus fermentation - more expensive than bacterial, but some supplements are cheaper this way, or can not be done via bacterial Also, watch out for left and right handness. All animal life on Earth only uses the left handed molecules. You will find some fake sugars are the right handed type, identical to sucrose in all other regards, but it passes right through human digestive system, but still has a sweet taste on the tongue. Thus, if the supplement is 100 mg, and 'half' is right handed, the effective dose is only 50 mg. And if they follow the USA legal minimum for labelling laws, that 100 mg is really 90 mg, and the actual effective dose is 45 mg. And one last hit, the expiration date is usually when the effective dose ages close to 50% of the labelled dose. So, if close to the expiration date, that 100 mg is only going to be 23 mg or so. So, if the doctor ordered you to take 100 mg once a day .... you might be getting only 23 mg by the end of the bottle. This is bad, as your symptoms will not go away. How to tell the ratio of right to left? There is a web site that rates supplements. I wish I recalled the URL. Google likely can find it. IMHO, TwinLabs is the worse. They use bacterial vats for most all their line (not all), and they always label at 90%, and some of the supplements are as much as 90% right handed, while others at 50%, and some are as 20 or 10% right handed. They will not tell you. I read this on the rating web site. Now TwinLabs has purchased several other good lines of supplements. They have financial woes with their own line, and sought to horizontal expand to increase revenue. Have their entered bankruptance yet, anyone know? So, get behind " Truth In Labelling " law changes. There are several web sites to tell you more. Google to find them. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest guest Posted April 27, 2009 Report Share Posted April 27, 2009 I take Glutathione and it was given to me by Dr lieberman who treated me for the mold illness. It is made by American Biologics in Chula Vista ,CA. It actually says on the label that it is free of yeast and gluten. Hope this helps, .
