I'm the woman who is now homeless from mycotoxin cross-contamination.

I'm in a hotel room with my 9 month old baby (I have MCS so this is NOT

easy in a hotel, especially not with a baby, too). Thank you to

everyone who responded to the last post about vacating.

I have CSM left over from my last mold detoxing. I am breastfeeding

but wonder, if I stop breastfeeding, and I take the CSM again, do you

think it would help me tolerate low levels of the mycotoxins in our

home -- again, this was a CROSS-CONTAMINATION (eg I brought in stuff

that was from a toxic mold house after I went into the house with my

baby) -- so we're not dealing with an original mold source, however,

I'm so acutely sensitive that the smallest amounts made it so I can't

tolerate our home now (or car or clothes that were all washed with the

outfit I wore in that mold house)

I can't find a safe place to live after searching daily - b/c of the

MCS - and I'm trying to figure out if there's any way to make me less

sensitive...somehow.

Yes, we've cleaned and all that...

Thanks

Jill

Hi Jill,

Sorry to hear about your homeless situation and all that has been lost. Trust me

ive been there myself.

Yes you can use the CSM for any levels of toxic mold. In fact its probably a

good idea.

jill, besides avoidance, one of the several protocols to help reduce

hypersensitivity: ziem or pall protocol, neuro retraining, etc.... sue

Sue I can always depend on you... thank you :-)

BTW I received your mail and your right it was confusing.

I desperately need to recover from this and because the weather's been really

nice the past 2 days so I've been going for long walks at a killer pace.

Yesterday I dont know how many miles I walked but I was gone for an hour and

half today it wont be as long only because I don't have any place to really go.

<shrug>

Thanks again

I have always waited about 1/2 hr. to an hr. after taking CSM to eat or

take other meds. I also use Milk of Magnesia every night which helped the

constipation. A little bit of heartburn at first but not any longer.

Good luck.

Here is the CSM protocol I received from Dr. Shoemaker in April 2007:

1. On an empty stomach, take one scoop of CSM (9 grams), mix with

water, or juice, 4-6 oz

2. Stir well and swallow. Add more liquid, repeat 1 above until done.

3. Drink an extra 4-6 oz of liquid

4. After 30 minutes, you may eat or take meds (wait at least 2 hours

before taking thyroxine, digitalis, theophylline, coumadin and

others, ask your doctor for information)

5. Take CSM 4 times a day!

6. If you eat first, wait at least 60 minutes before taking your next

CSM

7. Reflux, constipation, bloating and bowel distress are to be

expected

8. Use acid blocking medications as needed

9. Use sorbitol, 70% solutions, 1 TBSP 3-4 times a day to relieve

constipation

CSM Protocol

from Dr.Shoemaker that I have used since Dec. 2003. I followed the

directions to the letter and never had a problem.

I took mine doses about 4 to 5 hrs. apart. I would mix it in a jar before

going to bed and have an extra container of water. Set the alarm for about

6am for the 1st dose, than about 10 or 11 AM, then 4 or 5PM & dinner about

6PM. Final dose was about 8 or 9PM. Any meds for night time I would take

1/2 hr. or hr. later.

I only take it twice a day now but I NEVER missed a dose and it worked

wonders for me.

Hope this helps. Any other questions feel free to ask!!

Hi Dave,

That's pretty much my understanding, keep meds & supplements 2 hours

away from CSM before and after...and I agree, info on the web about this

is confusing, but my son's doc's instructions were 2 hrs each direction,

now depending on the medications you are taking, your doctor may give

you other instructions, ask your doc too. sue v.

Re: CSM Protocol

Here is the CSM protocol I received from Dr. Shoemaker which I followed

without ever missing a dose. Worked for me. About 5-6AM 10-11AM 3-4PM then

finally at 8-9PM

1. On an empty stomach, take one scoop of CSM (9 grams), mix with

water, or juice, 4-6 oz

2. Stir well and swallow. Add more liquid, repeat 1 above until done.

3. Drink an extra 4-6 oz of liquid

4. After 30 minutes, you may eat or take meds (wait at least 2 hours

before taking thyroxine, digitalis, theophylline, coumadin and

others, ask your doctor for information)

5. Take CSM 4 times a day!

6. If you eat first, wait at least 60 minutes before taking your next

CSM

7. Reflux, constipation, bloating and bowel distress are to be

expected

8. Use acid blocking medications as needed

9. Use sorbitol, 70% solutions, 1 TBSP 3-4 times a day to relieve

constipation

I need some clarification on cholestyramine

I read on one site that I should wait 2 hours AFTER taking CSM to take my

medications/I read on one site that I should wait 2 hours AFTER taking CSM

to take my medications/<WBR>supplements and this

What I've been doing is when I first get up in the morning I'll mix CSM

with psyllium whole husks (colon cleanser) and drink it and wait 2 hours than

I'll take all my other medications and supplements.

Thanks

Tug
