Guest guest
Dear Benn, Sue, Marcia, , and all, Thank you for your comments so far. I did put the mail on the ukherbalist, as I thought that a journal entitled the European Journal of Herbal Medicine - affiliated to a specific Institute or not - to a degree does represent (and reflect on) all of us. I will certainly investigate the journal alternatives suggested. I would however still very much appreciate an official comment by somebody from the Institute with regards to where things are going with the EJHM, a new editor, and with regards to still publishing my article. Written acceptance of publication brings with it an obligation to do so - also: when it comes to listing ones publication credentials (e.g. in a CV), a letter of acceptance is generally considered to be as good as the publication itself. This practice in the scientific / academic community is obviously based on the trust that a peer reviewed journal is good for its word. I dare only hint at the possibility that the latter point may have been instrumental in a recent career development of mine. This brings us back to professionalism, credibility of our profession and commitment to scientific inquiry. I understand that the official comment part might indeed be better dealt with on the MNIMH list - if anybody could be so good and give me some access privilege and instructions, I would be most thrilled. Blessings, Dirk
