Calling all severe asthmatics...

Our paper on the treatment of severe asthmatics using itraconazole is

due out before xmas and we are currently preparing press releases for

UK & USA. The paper provides substantial evidence that an antifungal

medication successfully helps give quality of life to a whole group

of

patients not formerly suspected of having a fungal infection - and it

is a sizable group of around 100 - 150 000 people in the UK alone.

Denning has asked me to find a few patients (severe asthatics)

in

both UK & USA who would be prepared to speak to the press a little

about their illness (not likely to be TV!). I suspect that anyone

with

severe asthma would be an appropriate person.
