Guest guest
Is the supplement glutathione made from Aspergillus? I recently read a comment on a forum that stated that " people should be aware that all glutathione is derived from the mold aspergillus. " And if you are allergic to aspergillus mold then by taking glutathione you could have an allergic reaction (a potentially dangerous one at that.) You can read that comment on the link bellow. http://tinyurl.com/chakpf <http://tinyurl.com/chakpf> I searched for more information about this but I didn't find much info about this. All that I could find was a few people stating that glutathione was derived from aspergillus mold. On a personal note, a friend of mine had a IV of glutathione a few years ago and she had a very bad and immediate allergic reaction to it. Her doctor said that she had never seen an allergic reaction to glutathione like that before. However, my friend is very sensitive to aspergillus mold. So, if glutathione is indeed derived from aspergillus then that could possibly explain her allergic reaction. Does anybody here know whether or not glutathione is in fact derived from Aspergillus? Thanks. -
