Guest guest
Saw my allergist today. My latest test results are back---negative for Ige mold. He told me that I could be reacting Igg. Anyone know what this means? He said that all my illness-symptoms could be caused by the mold in my house. We will start with allergy shots in approx 2 weeks.Has this helped any of you? I know that the majority of my symptoms are nuero-therefore toxic not allergic reactions to the mold.I also have allergies to dust mites and trees therefore the shots sound good. I have found the source of our mold--the roof needs to be replaced, mold is on the plywood-beam then down the wall (downstairs bedroom)mine. We own therfore this will be a costly remediation, insurance won't cover roof repairs. The allergist said I needed to move but frankly I can't afford to lose the house, we would have to go bankrupt.I am also afraid if we moved I would still have the " problem " no matter where we lived. What a depressing situation--I love the pine forest we live in-I love the outdoors-I'm a rock hound and garage-flea marketer. It appears that this has affected every aspect of my life-health financial social--even my hobbies are going to have to be modified. I'm truly saddened and I don't see an easy fix--this will take a year or more to fix and I will truly never feel safe in this house.
