Hi Kerry

bit confused. " All other tests for hearing show nothing " Surely there

must be some evidence of the hearing loss? The hearing tests performed

at my local hospital produce graphs of hearing response against

frequency for each ear. Has she had these?

best wishes and a happy new year ;-)

Hi Kerry, yes, I have come across sudden deafness due to (or after) a viral infection. St 's wort helped considerably (tincture as anti-viral and nervous tissue restorative), although recovery was only partial. Hi Sally,

Unfortunately I only have the information below as it was conveyed to me

via email. I will be talking with her next week so hope to receive

further information then. I know, it makes no sense... there must be

something somewhere. However, as I understand it, nothing was found on

examination; the other tests are, so far, unclear; I hope to gain more

data soon. It seems that the doctor, on finding no conclusive evidence

said, " It could be one of these four things but I don't know so here,

take some prednisone and we'll see if anything happens. "

Hope all is well with you,

Kerry
