I cannot comment on his herbal training but he is using the term naturopath but has not studied at any of the accredited NA naturopathic schools. I have worked in the naturopathic NA industry and that is what they refer to as a small 'n' naturopath. Of course they could be good practitioners but when all you have to go on is a CV it helps to know the school is official and not mail order diploma's etc.A map of the accredited schools for ND'shttp://www.aanmc.org/more-info/ndcas.phpSabraSent from my iPad

HI all,

a friend in the states whose daughter has MND has asked if I can tell if

this guy is genuine. The only qualification I recognise is the AHG

membership - anyone else have any opinions??

He would be listed on the AHG website as a registered peer-reviewed professional herbalist if bonafide. (American Herbalist Guild)The naturopathic piece, I don't know....CC: ukherbal-list To: ukherbal-list From: sabraway@...Date: Fri, 6 Jan 2012 09:11:08 -0500Subject: Re: American herbalist

So his " ND " is from the mail order mill Trinity (goes under another name now,

I think),

and his AHG membership isn't supported by the AHG site ...

http://americanherbalistsguild.com/member_profiles/NC

http://americanherbalistsguild.com/member_profiles/PA

probably just a " general " membership (which whoever so wishes can get),

perhaps paid precisely so he can add the " AHG member " to his website ...

With 30 years of hands-on herbal work (what kind? In the garden, in the

health food store, with seeing clients?) it's entirely possible that he CAN be

genuine, but I'd avoid him. He's dishonest in his credentials. Where else is

he dishonest?

H.
