Guest guest
Happy New Year All, the clock ticked into 2008 in my city, alot are on the coast so Happy New Year in advance, of your time, regards Bill Happy New Year everyone! I stayed up online with a friend of mine last night and we made out our New Years Resolutions. We do ten every year together and the rules include that they be SMART resolutions - Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely. For each resolution there is also an accompanying plan to achieve it. For my health, I will have a 10% weight loss this year and to accomplish that I will follow a diet combining Sparkpeople.com and Bob Greene's Best Life Diet. For exercise I will average 10,000 steps a day and will alternate 30 minutes in the evening of light weights and yoga, and for motivation I will come in here and will follow the trails on America On the Move. Is anyone starting the Pacific Crest Trail with me today? JanetSee AOL's top rated recipes and easy ways to stay in shape for winter. Guest guest
Thanks, Bill. Happy New Year to you and everyone on the list. I had friends over and the last one just departed. I'm usually in bed long before the clock clicks on midnight and it was a fun change - that I won't need again for about ten years or so, lol. Happy, successful New Year to everyone. Guest guest
only if i can come to California to do it! there's a bit too much snow around here. i feel like i'm waiting for spring, but i guess i could head over to the trails downtown to avoid the snow and winds. i've been sick and i feel cowardly about the cold... laurie i would like to head back to the south Washington section of the trail. I havent hiked it since sometime between age 21 & 23 and I had just recovered from the flu. It was also snowing like mad and we had to turn around, much to the dismay of the hard core hikers in the group. > > Is anyone starting the Pacific Crest Trail with me today? > > Janet
