Guest guest
Hi all, Just wondering if any of you make your own Inula tincture?? If so have you harvested your own root and dried it? If so how did it compare to a specific tincture?? Would love a bit of feedback! Thanks !
Guest guest
I make my own and it seems to work, but I haven't tried to compare it to anything else! It's very starchy and I've used it both ways; leaving the starch in so you have quite a sludgy tincture, and filtering it (I use paper coffee filters) to get a clearer tincture. The clear one tastes 'brighter' if that makes any sense, and I think works better, but I know people who prefer the sludgy one - up to you!
