e, is it normal for May to be in the 50s? It's 83, here in Kentucky and that's a lot better than it was the past 2 weeks, when it reached 90s. Our spring is being warmer and wetter than normal.

Sunscreen Lotion Recipe

Natural-Protection Cream

3 tbsp. unrefined sesame oil1 tbsp. unrefined avocado oil1 tbsp. unrefined jojoba oil1 tbsp. walnut or almond oil1 tbsp. shea butter2 tbsp. cocoa butter1 tsp. beeswax1 tsp. soya-lecithin2 tbsp. aloe-vera gel2 tbsp. rose or lavender water1/2 tsp. borax powder20 drops carrot-seed essential oil3-5 drops coconut fragrance oil (optional)

Melt the first 4 oils, butters and beeswax in a double boiler over medium heat until just melted. Add the soya-lecithin, and stir to blend. Remove from heat. In a small saucepan, gently warm the aloe-vera gel and rose or lavender water, and stir in borax powder until dissolved. Remove from heat. When the oil and water mixtures are still warm to the touch and about the same temperature, set the small saucepan into a bowl of ice. Drizzle in the oil mixture while mixing rapidly with a small whisk; a cream will quickly form. Add carrot-seed essential oil and coconut fragrance oil if desired; blend thoroughly. Store in a clean, airtight jar or bottle, and refrigerate.

No Joyce it's colder then normal and what we are used to. The temperatures jumpes a lot from warm to cold, or dry and humide, storm or northern winds that makes it cold. Really not inviting to go outside for the moment. But it's always good for somebody. So we are creative with the situation yet. We need to work at the attic so with that weather it means less sweating oef oef !!

Since I have been living here, 9 yrs now, it has to be at least 15 degrees cooler than it had been for this time of the yr. And usually we don't get so much rain for May, we have had very little sunshine this month, its been rain, cloudy, and more chances of rain, and the monthly forecast for June showed more rainy days a head and like 3 nice days and in the 80's, when we should be in the 90's by June, but some locals say that it happened one yr that we had a frost June 10th back in the '80's..so our weather is like yours in Belgium.Joy your weather sounds a bit hotter than normal then, huh?

Don't know if I answered this, so..... :-) YES! Our weather is from 15 to 20 hotter than normal with more rain, than we normally have. This makes it very muggy and we could be headed back in the 90s again. The vegetable garden has been drowned a few times already. We've had to replant corn, peas, beans and tomatoes, at least twice now. My roses have black spot which is a fungus from too much rain. I am having to weed my flower beds every week, due to so much rain!

well it looks to me that we are in some sort of global cooling/global warming..hopefully this won't be a pattern.
