Guest guest
HI FOLKS, i have bronciteasis right from my child hood , now iam 30 yrs of age and the doctor is telling me to do the surgary to remove a part of the right lower lobe of my lungs(which looks like a small cavity when the CT scan taken), he is telling me that he can do a thoroscopy(key hole surgery for thorax) for this .I am very scared to do the surgery as i dont know what will happen after few months/Yr if it is a bilateral bronchitasis. as of now i have to cough up the mucus every frequent interval to keep me safe from infection and this is difficult for me because because i am working for an IT department..it is also difficult to perform a healthy normal life. Pls advice if its good to do the surgery and after will i be allright. I also would like to know if there is there is any techniques/breathing exrecises/medices to cough up the mucus easely.
