Thank you . Dennis Kucinich is one politician that I truly respect. He is for natural healing, too. He's honest and is for the people. I even wrote him once, and he actually personally replied. No form letter, either. I was even amazed that he replied. I was just thanking him for his work. He is one politician, we need in the government, even though he doesn't represent my state. What is more, the mass of crooked politicians and corporations, keep trying to get him out of office. He's too honest and caring, for them, and his integrity threatens them.

Kucinich Bill Will be Crucial to First Lady’s Anti-Obesity Efforts

Following the release of a report from the White House Task Force on Childhood Obesity, Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) today urged colleagues to support HR 4310, Kucinich’s bill that would revoke tax write-offs for marketing unhealthy food to children. “Astonishingly, taxpayer money is being used to fuel the childhood obesity epidemic because the costs of marketing junk food and fast food to children are tax deductible.“My bill, HR 4310, not only attacks a root cause of childhood obesity, but it also helps fund anti obesity programs.“A child’s still developing brain can’t tell the difference between fact and opinion and can’t yet think critically. It is no match for a $10 billion industry that exploits this vulnerability using cartoons, cross branding with popular toys, giveaways, and myriad other methods to develop brand loyalty and shape judgment as early as possible. Established early, these affinities are the most enduring. Put simply, marketing pays or they wouldn’t do it.“I commend the First Lady for her dedication to reversing the disturbing trend of childhood obesity and for shedding light on the problem of food marketing to children. Congress and the White House must act now, and HR 4310 gives us the opportunity to do so in a fiscally responsible way.â€###

yes, Joy,I agree with you there, he is one guy that the FED/Banksters cant get rid of. We have a few in congress, Alan Greyson from Fl., Bernie , Jeff Merkley Oregon, and P. Defazio another Oregon rep, there are a few more I know I missed, R , too, I voted for Kucinich and R , and Kucinich was the only man speaking about our health care system and the "Brokers" that are the insurance industry, he said they are not needed, that is why the health care system is broke, from the insurance co's. He was one of the 1st to speak up about it, but our media constantly over looks important issues like these, because its not profitable to speak about it and make the public aware of it..From what I have been reading its the Federal Reserve and their banksters, across our country that

use money to elect our officials, when there is someone that they dont want in office they will use mega money to get them booted out of office, by devoting money to their opponent so that they loose. This is why the campaign money strategy had got to go. And the supreme court made it legal for other corporations that arent even in the USA to contribute now. Corporations arent people, period, this should be illegal.Alas I am venting, thanks for listening, dear Joy!Blessings Michele

Since, politicians affects our health, this is very important to share. So no problems venting, here. :-)

I like Ron , but he is for capitalism. Unfortunately, capitalism is now out of control, here in the USA. Bankers and corporations (like insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies) have too much control. People thinks capitalism is going to help make them rich. But in my point of view, the rich gets richer and the rest are ignored or get poorer. I pay attention to the ones, who says looking out for the health of the people, is socialism or communism. These are the ones, who are looking out for the wealthy. I just can't understand, why the sheep can't see through the blarney.

True communism is beautiful, but it can't work, because man can tend to be greedy, lazy and selfish. The communism that has been practiced in different countries in the world, is not really communism. Communism is where, everyone works together and shares equally, with a mentality of "good for all".

When Medicare was created, it was called communism and socialism. Now, it's taken for granted. We have the same thing going on with, Obama's health care plan. Nothing is perfect and it takes time to get it right. Yet, those who are preaching against the health care, are the wealthy & corporations.

Now, I am venting!!! I'll stop. :-)

Love, Joy

I know, I was surprise at some stances that Ron takes. So in this I agree with you there. I am not into the tea party movement either, its way too extreme. But it did get started with opening up information about the Federal Reserve, I used to get the mail in my box all the time about these issues and once I figured out that they are extremists I stopped subscribing to there agenda. This is a scare tactic that the ring wing uses, socialism and communism and most of the people that are mad about Obama care are on medicare and do take in their social security checks every month. So what are they so mad about? When wealth is horded then it doesn't get distributed and that is our problem, we are capitalists/fascists here in America. I heard that there are more wealthier people now than ever

before. The middle class are angry? We bailed out wall street. And the CEO's continue to profit along with the companies. Goldman Sachs contributed to the Obama campaign. Halliburton was Cheney's corporation, this is what I mean, these corporations run our countries, they place these puppets to do their bidding. Goldman Sachs, and Haliburton both had hands in the gulf oil spill..goldman in an email that came out someone there said that it would be very profitable that this could happen, and haliburton was the contractor that is under investigation because of the initial drilling.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/andy-borowitz/goldman-sachs-reveals-it_b_558774.htmlI voted for Obama, better than MCaine I stated back then. There is no way that

we can get away from these corporations unless the people stand up for our human rights and say that corporations are violating our human rights and really make an effort to change the laws that are in place. And entwined with all this, is...the AMA/Big Pharma, Monsanto/Pesticides/GMO foods, Oil Corporations, nuclear power corporations, Coal corporations, (the 3 energy drains) Big Banks, NYSE, and I cant forget religion, cause religion plays a huge role in policy making, and lobbyists, which is the Di-sease of our country. Now I said my peace, thanks for listening..

Amen to all you said, Sis. When preachers become politicians, then they no longer are speaking for God. Too many Christian religions are prejudice, bigoted, and I was raised Baptist. Religions are man made. Spirituality comes from God/Goddess/Great Spirit. All are created from a spark of Devine, which makes us all kin. And that includes animals, plants, water, Mother Earth, ect. We should be looking out for All, for the Highest Good of All. It's what Jesus and others have tried to teach. Jesus, was a Master teacher, who came to teach. Yet, we made him a God. I do not think Jesus, would be happy with what has been done.

Well, I am venting, again. Thanks for listening.
