Guest guest
Thank you very much. After talking with several people, we think her " crashes " may be being caused by her eating while dialyzing. She does that because of her diabetes and needing to keep her blood sugar level. I talked to her nutritionist today and they are going to have her eat part of her meal before dialysis and the rest after...see if that helps. Her stomach was wanting blood and fluids that she didn't have to give it, hopefully this will help. Thanks again. Guest guest
Well, Donna, it sounds like we are very much alike! I found a buddy the first week I was a part of the group and waited for the lender to pay Dr. Levin. He received his check last Wed. so now I am waiting for my buddies to pay then we have to call the same day to schedule. I am anxious. I wish the surgery was scheduled and the airline tickets paid for, then it would seem real to me. It looks like that will happen the first week of January and the surgery date is Jan. 17. Woopie! I have arranged for a sitter for my boys and my daughter will go to grandmas in oklahoma for a whole month. I will miss her help during that time, but she is really excited to go. Hubby is definately going with. I have heard alot about how much I will need him to go pee and sit up etc. The whole thing has me on the edge of my seat. I am trying to focus on my kids school work and house work, bills, Christmas and all, but the TR stuff is a distraction to say the least. I am not sleeping well lately. Sorry about the letter! LOL Thanks for your input! My prayers to you and your quest for ttc! I hope that it will happen quickly for you. Thanks again for my Christmas card, and to all the other ladies who sent me one too! I have them sitting on my piano next to the tree. So pretty. I only have one card from a family member and loads from my TR group! It has made me feel special. God bless, Ingrid 30 dh 39 dd 12 (13 Dec. 29) dss 10 & 6 TL 1995 and counting and seeing babies and wishing I could hold one again! TR hopefully Jan 17, 2002!!! Guest guest
Donna, Thanks so much for asking about my mom! Your prayers must be working, she is doing a bit better, hasn't " crashed " for her last two dialysis sessions so that is good news. They tried some different stuff like lowering the temp of the blood and not trying to pull so much fluid off and that seems to have helped somewhat anyway. She looked good yesterday and is going to watch the girls this weekend so DH and I can get away alone together. woo hooo!!!! Thanks again for remembering her, I can't put into words how much I appreciate that. --- Donna Fannin wrote: > , > How is your mom doing?
