Guest guest
Hello , I found this book very informative about Hepatitis C. You may find some of the protocols useful for your young man. I include Silybum marianum when treating any hepatitis. Also consider Cnicus benedictus. With best wishes Cristina Dear all Does anyone have experiences they can share for treating/ supporting Hep B? Patient is 31 year old male, his medication is currently Viread which looks as if it may have caused, or at least contributed to Osteoporosis, which is being treated with Bi-phosphates. Thinking of the usual approach for the osteoporosis - horsetail, urtica, centella, maybe Ribes. Dietary advice given as diet was poor and high on sugar... If herbs can work alongside the antiviral drug for the hep to maybe reduce the need for the drug, he might stand a better chance with his bones.. Many thanks

Guest guest
I believe Hep B is a notifiable disease!??! Dolan wrote an excellent book on tackling Hep C which some of my patients found very useful. Lots of protocols etc. Do an Amazon search.LorraineLorraine Hodgkinson MRCHMHERBS AND HELPERS6, Butts Fold, Cockermouth,Cumbria, CA13 9HY. Guest guest
HiAs far as I am aware, notification only involves medical practitioners. These drugs sound like pretty harsh treatments (no surprise there then!) for Hep B. Why these nuclear options? Dolan's book is excellent - he doesn't mention it explicitly as he talks about lots of options, but reading between the lines, he has most praise for herbs and I think he takes them himself.RegardsDr GascoigneMedical doctor, acupuncturist, herbalistClinics in Bath & Tetbury, UKTel: +44 (0) 79 88 05 92 01Also, Bandon, Co. Guest guest
Yes pretty severe drugs. Patient had Hep B for 11 years. Is stage 4/5 pre cirrhosis. Thank you for book recommendation, I will certainly look for it. All helpful replies are much appreciated.
