Guest guest
Hi Theresa, I didn't have your symptoms but many others. I tried pushing ahead for a year and ended up with 24/7 anxiety and now 4 years later, I'm still a mess. I have no idea if it was caused from the high doses of P or the high doses of E. (I was using double E at one point, as per my prescribing dr) I feel like my receptors have been damaged. But who knows. Ahhhhhhhh, 20/20 hindsight. I wish there had been a list such as this where I could have read BEFORE I went on the WP. I would have probably run so fast. I read the book 3 times, as I couldn't find anything in it that indicated the protocol would work for hysterctomized women. I finally found 1 line. I wished I never had. This whole experience has made me leery of ANY protocol. If I try anything, it's tiny baby doses. I'm still currently on 6mg of E and blood level showed 95. But now my FSH has gone back up to 51.0. And my SBHG is 32. Something is whacked out. Testo is still up at 43 and I only used it for a month last summer. My testo was 20 then. My blood sugar has been all messed up, also. My advice would be to ask yourself how long you want to keep trying. Does this feel right to you? Are the benefits outweighing the negative stuff? Please trust your own instincts. You don't need to "stick it out" if it's not working. You probably would have known by now. There are sooooo many hormone protocols that help alleviate menopausal symptoms. I know 3 women on the protocol and have been for 2+years but they are doing fine. It did not take them 6 months. It took 3 max! And they did not have ANY horrible adjustments. One had been in menopause for a year (no periods) those came back in the first month, and she just felt better and better. The other 2 were regular and hardly skipped a beat except they slept better and hot flashes went away. (I consider all 3 very lucky so far) Liz ___________________________________ www.ojaipaintedminis.com From: rhythmicliving [mailto:rhythmicliving ] On Behalf Of ayalatheresa@...Sent: Thursday, April 17, 2008 1:48 PMTo: rhythmicliving Subject: Re: Welcome another new member.... Hi all,I was hopeful that the WP would be the answer for me, but it appears that I am not having 100 percent success. The protocol has helped with the hot flashes, panic attacks, mood swings, and insomnia, but I still feel awful a good deal of the time.I am in month six. The 24/7 dizzies has been replaced by waves of dizziness throughout the day. I am not as depressed but have frequent anxiety. My melasma has worsened and I still have dark rings around my areolas. I often have sinus-like symptoms, but the doctor says my sinuses are clear. The doctor asked me if I feel pregnant. As I have never been pregnant, I could not say. For the first time ever, blood test results indicate that I am slightly dehydrated. Since starting the protocol, there is an oily substance in my urine, but a urine culture came back normal. I have also gained ten pounds. I have become loopy and forgetful.Anyone else have these symptoms on the protocol? Did they ever go away? If so, how long before they did?I hate this roller coaster ride! I have an appointment with my doctor on Monday. I am going to ask how much more time I should give the WP. I am seriously considering making a trip to Arizona to see Dr. Vilet.Theresa Welcome another new member.... Welcome to the newest member. Below is her anonymous introduction. Please introduce yourself when you feel comfortable.Laurel__________________Comment from user:I have had great success with bioidentical hormones (not the WilleyProtocol) and am anxious to be connected with others who are takingbioidenticals.
