Guest guest
Hi - just a thought, haven't checked back to see whether anyone else has mentioned this, has your patient had thyroid levels checked? Underactive thyroid can lead to heavy bleeding. Women with UA thyroids tend to have higher oestrogen levels and lower levels of SHBG (fairly sure I gleaned this info from one of Chanchal Cabrera's lectures and also possibly from both Ruth Trickey and Aviva Romm). Best wishes Sue Salmon Huddersfield
